Wildwood Walkers Tennessee Walking Horses
  Rest In Peace

This page is dedicated to some of our favorites that are no longer with us.

Daisy (A Mark Of Beauty)
Daisy was undefeated until her 3 yr old year.
She was extremely willing, ever so sweet and had so much talent.
She dominated the MWHA Futurity as a weanling, yearling and 2 yr old.  She was all natural and was winning with only a couple weeks under saddle.
Due to a rainy day and muddy pasture she broke her leg and was eauthenized.  To this day there are tears in our eyes when we not only remember what she could have been, but what she was.
Yes, she proved herself as a Champion, but was also the favorite of everyone here at Wildwood Walkers.

"You made mom smile".

We miss you dearly Daisy.

Lady (Linda's Secret Lady)
I remember the day mom bought Lady.  I was not happy about it, thinking, "You just bought ANOTHER broodmare".  However, mom said, "There is just something about her I like".  Even though Lady was a little lazy on the trail, she was outstanding as a broodmare.  Lady was the mare that gave us our start.  She produced 3 great stud colts and eventually a beautiful bay filly we named Daisy.  Each and every one of her foals dominated the MWHA Futurity when shown.  The cross between her and "Marked Up" was virtually unbeatable.  These foals were smart, willing and best of all Naturally Gaited!  Most all her foals went into the 2yr old MWHA Futurity with only a couple weeks under saddle and almost all walked away as Grand Champions.
She passed away in premature labor with another beautiful bay filly.  Sometimes their fate is in God's hands no matter what we do.

Thank you Lady, we miss you.
